Digital & Print Media Coordinator

The Digital & Print Media Coordinator oversees the development and maintenance of websites, blogs, electronic newsletters, social media campaigns, and other digitally produced material.
The person filling this role will identify target audiences and is tasked with finding the best ways to present information to these audiences. Creative thinking skills and strategies are an essential part in driving digital narrative and enhancing Colonial’s image.

Ideal candidates for this role will be creative and innovative, multimedia savvy, well-organized, and must have excellent written and verbal skills.

Videographer/Story Specialist

Colonial is seeking an organized and creative Videographer/Story Specialist to work with our creative team to plan, film, and edit video content according to client briefs. The Videographer’s responsibilities include ensuring that the necessary filming equipment is available for use, directing other camera operators on set, and editing film footage.

This position requires some reporting/writing and editing.

Connections Director – SKC Campus

Colonial is now accepting applications for the position of Connections Director.  Working at our South Kansas City location, the Connections Director is primarily responsible for four key areas within the ministry:

  • Assimilation: Encouraging visitors and regular attenders to engage more fully in life at Colonial; manage the guest and membership processes; and develop deeper relationships with the congregation.
  • Connection: Connect guests, regular-attenders, and members to the appropriate ministry and/or volunteer opportunity.
  • Groups: Help people become more deeply connected within the church body.
  • Community Connection & Special Events: Develop and help coordinate Community and Special Events (e.g., campus parties, neighborhood gatherings, and other similar events).
