Women's Ministry
We are thrilled to welcome you to the Women's Ministry of Colonial Presbyterian Church. It is our desire to minister to women of all ages and seasons of life. There are activities, events, LIFE groups and Bible studies available that run throughout the entire year. Click on the ministry name to be directed to that ministry's web page.
- Women's LIFE Groups -- Bible studies with application of God’s Word through service
- Bible Studies held at both campuses
- Mornings for Moms – studies held at both campuses, includes program for young children
- Heart and Home - women's studies held in homes for women with school-age children
- Colonial Presbyterian Women with events at both campuses.
- DivorceCare group that meets weekly at the Quivira campus

- Quilting and Such This is a group for those who are interested in (or interested in learning) quilting and such (can bring other projects such as needlepoint, knitting, sewing, etc) for fellowship and sharing ideas and creations. Devotions and prayer will be included in each meeting. Bring what materials or ideas you have to the Terrace Room at the Wornall Campus from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on first and third Mondays. - Women's Mountain Climb Retreat will be held Sept 15-19, 2012, staying in Buena Vista, CO and hiking a nearby 14,000 ft mountain. The trip is open to all adult women (high school graduate or older) of Colonial. Registration begins May 1. Contact Krista Eyler at 913-221-1517 or Joy Stover at 913-488-2704.
And there are many places for women to serve and be served on other ministry teams throughout the ministries of Colonial!
Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” You are His masterpiece and you are perfect in His sight!
