Helping people become passionate, selfless followers of Christ

A Biblical View of Aging

· Aging is a normal part of life.

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die." Ecclesiastes 3:1-2a

· Senior adults deserve respect.
"'Honor your father and mother' - which is the first commandment with a promise - 'that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.'" Ephesians 6:2-3

· Aging brings experience.
"Is not wisdom found among the aged? Does not long life bring understanding?" Job 12:12

· Senior adults should be mentors.
"Remember the days of old; consider the generations long past. Ask your father and he will tell you, your elders, and they will explain to you." Deuteronomy 32:7

· God uses everyone.
"In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams." Acts 2:17
