Helping people become passionate, selfless followers of Christ

LIFE Group Study Curriculum

If you are looking for a new study, check out these two resources!

  1. The Colonial Curriculum Library shows what studies are available at the church.  These studies come from donated studies that other groups have gone through, so they often contain a leader’s guide and a video/DVD, or at minimum, a participant’s guide.  You are welcome to check out several items so your group can look over the material to see what interests them.  Please contact Jeannie Parmon at jparmon@colonialkc.org or 816-501-3035 to make arrangements to check out these items.
  2. The LIFE Group Recommended Studies List shows studies that are recommended and highly regarded by people in our congregation as well as nationally. Topics such as parenting, single parenting, marriage, theology, spiritual gifts, prayer, dealing with teenagers. etc. These are studies you would need to order and allow 2 weeks to arrive.
  3. Looking for marriage curriculum? Check out this list provided by our Marriage Ministry
Both of the above lists will be updated several times a year with new study information on the best studies, as well as other donated study materials.

Some of the newest studies available for you to check out from Colonial are:

Take It to the Limit: How to Get the Most Out of Life, Andy Stanley of North Point Ministries
Discovering God's Way of Handling Money, Crown Financial Ministries
Freed-Up Financial Living, Dick Towner and John Tofilon

If you have Bible Studies or DVD Bible studies, along with their leader guides, at your home that you think others would enjoy, you can donate them to Colonial and get a tax deduction!

Any questions, please contact Jan Neisess at 816-501-3911 or jneisess@colonialkc.org.
