The Names of GodWhat: Do you like adventure? Do you like exploring beyond familiar places and travel less frequented roads? If so, there is a new Bible study for women and men at the Quivira campus that will challenge your faith and sharpen your vision of the magnificent God we worship and follow. If you admit that you don't know Your Lord as you should and want to do something about it, then this group is for you. We'll use Ann Spangler's study guide, The Names of God. Think about looking out over the surface of the ocean and marveling at its size and beauty. If that's all you know about it, you can enjoy the vista, but imagine diving in and seeing the multitude of life forms, plants and geographical formations that you never knew existed. That's what happens when you study God's names. His names reveal different aspects of His character that are sometimes beautiful, sometimes humbling, sometimes even frightening. Are you up to the challenge? Then please come along.
