GriefShare

What is GriefShare?
Are you grieving the loss of a spouse, child, family member or friend? Colonial offers you GriefShare, a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. GriefShare groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and who want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time in your life.
How GriefShare Works
It might be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future while you grieve. You might have questions about things you've never dealt with before. GriefShare groups meet weekly for 14 weeks to help you face the many challenges of grief and move toward rebuilding your life. Each GriefShare session has three components:
- Video Seminar with Experts: Top experts on grief and recovery are featured on each weekly video.
- Support Group Discussion: After viewing the video, you'll interact with and learn from others who have experienced a recent loss, and share your own experiences. You are not required to share, but doing so will aid in your recovery.
- Workbook Personal Study and Reflection: You'll have the opportunity during the week to use your class workbook for more personal study.
