Crossover Ministries is an intentional, Christ-centered basketball outreach to neighboorhod teens and families surrounding Colonial Presbyterian Church’s Wornall Campus (95th and Wornall Rd in KC, MO). Our events include an annual 3-on-3 Tournament and a 3-point shootout, as well as organized full court games every Thursday night during the summer.

Why the name, "Crossover Ministries?"

1. The crossover is one of the most electrifying moves in the game, one even moderate hoops fan can identify and appreciate.

2. Colonial wants to be a church that is intentional to cross over into the neighborhood and minister to people where they are.

3. The cross itself is a symbol that represents the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ who willingly suffered and died as a sacrifice for our sins, which allows us to have a relationship with the God of the universe. This is a message that needs to be shared!

4. Our ultimate goal for this ministry is for neighborhood teenagers and their families who don't know Christ to cross over from their former way of living into a new life dedicated to following Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." (Gal 2:20-21)
