Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir is our main sanctuary adult choir for our traditional service at the Wornall campus and for a majority of our special music events at Colonial. Offering a variety of classic choral literature and styles, the Chancel Choir prepares and presents special anthems and service music each Sunday as well as larger seasonal projects for Christmas and Easter. Every rehearsal provides opportunities to develop musically in the areas of note and rhythm reading, ear training, and vocal technique. The group is also challenged spiritually to, each week, consider and meditate on the biblical principles of worship and the role of a choir in a worship service.
