Q High Weekly Gatherings

LIFE GROUPS: These are our Wednesday night community groups in which we more intentionally dive into what discipleship looks like. We do this through communion with God (worship, prayer, bible study), authentic community, and missional opportunities within and for the Kingdom

REVOLUTION: is a food ministry in Westport that we partner with. We provide, prepare, and serve meals to around 50-60 financially-struggling people EVERY MONDAY. We meet at the Q at 5pm and get back around 8pm. We have Student leaders in charge of buying the food and rounding up students to go, and our students prepare and serve the meals, and then we eat with the participants… we simply need “guest-parents” who are willing to be drivers and serve alongside our students.

Sunday Mornings at the Q: This time is intended to be a GATHERING of our LifeGroups and a LAUNCHING of our high school students into their school's and individual contexts of ministry in order to be Kingdom-Workers. This is during the 3rd Service from 11am-Noon each Sunday. A typical morning consists of fellowship, worship through music, a message, "Missions Moments" (student testimonies about how the Lord is workin on hearts of people in their lives), and "Launch Times" (when we gather and pray within our schools in order to better reach our peers)

Pursue Team is our student leadership team that will meet once a month from 9:15-10:15am on Sundays. On the other weeks we will be participating in the second service at church. Any high school student with a desire to pursue Christ and take the next step in spiritual growth is encouraged to commit. Taken from 1Timothy6:11... A true leader must first and foremost Pursue Jesus Christ.
